Navarre (noun: nuh-vahr) - A kingdom of southwest Europe in the Pyrenees of northern Spain, southwest of the Aquitaine, ruled by King Sancho VII. An area once belonging to the ancient Basque, it is now an open hub of cultures and religions: Jews, Mozarab and Muwallad mix freely with the Visigoth and Normans. It is considered one of the more peaceful and prosperous kingdoms in Europe.

The year 1231 is a time of peace and prosperity throughout Navarre. The Kingdom has avoided the wars that have racked the rest of the Europe, and instead has set itself as a stable center of politics, learning, and trade. It is an open hub of cultures and religions: Jews, Mozarab and Muwallad mix freely with the Basque, Visigoth, and Normans. Even the strife of years past, between the two large cities of Pamplona and Roncesvalles, seems to be fading into the realm of memory.

Inquisition (noun: in-kwuh-zish-uhn) - an official investigation by the Church engaged chiefly in combating and punishing heresy, originally called against the Cathers of Southern France. Characterized by lack of regard for individual rights, prejudice on the part of the examiners, and recklessly cruel punishments.

For the Kine of Navarre, things have never been better. For the Kindred of Navarre, the War of Princes continues a slow burn across the land.

War of Princes (noun) - A phrase used to describe the recent rise of warfare between Kindred Princes in Europe, thought to have begun with the Tremere's destruction of Saulot and the death of the Michael the Patriarch in Constantinople. Used in reference to both a physical confrontation between two powers and the political battles that often precedes or follows. Seen both as a time of immense opportunity and desperation by those involved.

It has been over a decade since the Lord Buesa returned to Navarre and met his Monarch on the field of battle. In the aftermath, there remains no unifying leadership for the Domain, while the new Monarch struggles to unify an increasingly fractured land. A long standing dispute continues to simmer between the surface of relations between two powerful Princes. And a religious fire started on the other side of the Pyrenees threatens all that stand in its path.

Conspiratus Angelorum (noun: kuhn-spir-uh-tus eyn-juh-lor-um) - a Vampire LARP built upon the themes and background of White Wolf's Dark Ages setting; utilizing the Requiem rules system.
